IKEA 2026 Hidden Gems

Every year I do a little IKEA visit purely to see what’s new and shop around. There’s something about seeing the new displays after not visiting for a while and letting your imagination run free with pieces you haven’t seen before, especially when the new and old mix so well together. Here’s some new IKEA hidden gems that caught my eye!

I’ve also linked them all here!

IKEA OMMJANGE: The Cutest Flower Basket - $39.99 CAD

I really like the periwinkle blue contrasted with the rattan. I also LOVE how it’s shaped like a flower. This is definitely a statement basket. I can see myself using this for a plant or even for a hobby basket that I’ve been seeing trending online. Imagine throwing your craft supplies or puzzles like an activity basket you can bring out when you want to unplug from screen times!

As soon as I saw these frames I knew our people would love it! They’re so affordable and are perfect to add texture to any gallery wall or as a stand-alone in a smaller space. I always like it when they have matting included too. Boho lovers would be into this!

IKEA BILLY: Extendable table shelf!

Let me tell you how excited I was for this shelf when I saw it. I literally struggled with it for 5 minutes before figuring out how to open it and I swear the whole store was staring. You can watch it on the vlog here! I didn’t buy it right away (regret) but when I made up my mind to buy it there was only one left in Toronto! It’s such a space saver. I’m using it as my crafting desk but I think this would work well in small flex spaces. Imagine this in a condo that pulls out as a dining table but also stores extra kitchen supplies!
