How to Bake a Pumpkin Apple Butter Brie
This combination does not disappoint!
This is the perfect way to apple butter and it is not only delicious, but adorable and super easy to make! Perfect as the centrepiece to any charcuterie board or meals this autumn season.

Equipment
Step 1
Place your puff pastry on a parchment paper and spread apple butter in the middle of your puff pastry sheet.
Step 2
Place brie on top of the apple butter spread
Step 3
Trim off excess puff pastry to make a circle and cover brie with remaining pastry.
TIP
Make sure to leave enough puff pastry to cover the brie. When wrapping, I find it easier to grab an edge and bring it to the centre of the brie.
Step 4
Remove your wrapped brie and place flour on the centre of your parchment paper along with three strands of twine like a compass rose . Place the wrapped brie back on the centre and tie strings for the pumpkin ridges.
Step 5
Cut excess strings, brush egg wash on the wrapped brie and bake at 375°F for 25 minutes until golden brown.
TIP
I prefer to flip my wrapped brie upside down in the oven to have a smoother top!
STEP 6
Remove baker’s twine carefully and enjoy!
TIP
To make it look more like a pumpkin, I would poke a cheese stick for the stem! If you don’t have it, you can use a cinnamon stick as an alternative. Garnish with a basil or sage leaf too!
This will be perfect for future Thanksgiving/Friendsgiving weekend with family and friends. This is what I’m bringing if you’re inviting me over! I’d love to see your creations, tag me @thekwendyhome on any social media platforms so I can see what you are enjoying!
